Scenic Sunday, Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox
The town of Westwood that I live in originally was a lumber town and a booming one at that.Red River Mill was it' name and Paul Bunyan and Babe his Blue Ox somehow became our Mascot. They sit proudly in the middle of the town of Westwood and in the summer you will always see tourists standing amongst them for pictures. Taken just 3 days ago on a beautiful I thought I would use these pictures for my Scenic Sunday post.

First, I must say what a novel idea to have snippets of posts on the main page of your blog! It must help with loading all the attached photos! Great idea!
And love this image of an icon in your town! Really fascinating! Especially the blue ox!
