Today was my first day of spring!

Wednesday, March 18, 2009
Today as I was walking around my town and into Westwood, I noticed something that I have not for a very long time. The smell of the trees. Pine trees surround my home and streets yet I have not "smelled" them. I guess the weather finally warmed up enough where I could smell that  wonderful smell. I am only assuming this but it makes "sense" to me! (No pun intended) It has been so cold and frozen I guess the magic could not fill the air. Even though we have been told in my neck of the woods that we need to expect another snow storm come Friday (which just happens to be the first day of spring on the calendar), I think with the sounds of the birds, the ducks in the pond, and the smell of pine trees filling the air along with the smile on my face, today was the first day of spring.
FINALLY!!!

Skywatch Friday

Friday, January 30, 2009
This lone tree was right smack in the middle of one helluva storm that was blowing in awhile back. I always liked this picture due to the simplicity. So this is my first Skywatch Friday on this blog. I hope you like it and I hope there's enough sky in it. LOL!!!
Peace!!!

I lost the internet along with most outside sources to the world some time Saturday, We had one helluva storm brewing and I really felt like Dorothy wasn't gonna be in Kansas much longer. But Allison? I could not believe the D.T.'s I was having! It was not the quiet of the T.V., matter of fact I kind of liked it!
The Quiet can be . . . . . well, quiet! Quite enjoyable for some time. But NOT being able to get on line and talk to my "Buddies?" That was hell!
I am hooked, I am SOOOO hooked, I am Hooked , lined and sinkered! Okay so my spell check says sinkered is not a word. I say it is! Cuz I am . One and a half years ago I would not EVEN consider a computer, now I am soooo far gone I cannot even find my self! Below is I think the problem was to my very soon to possibly have been meltdown.
