Watery Wednesday
Tuesday, May 12, 2009Without a doubt, I believe Grandmothers have the right to brag! It is our right! This is exactly what I am going to do here for Watery Wednesday. This here is my grandson Jeremiah Lee at age 3. It is Christmas day at Laguna Beach Ca. I am a picture taking nut, not a photographer, just a picture taker. I have a gazillion pictures and without even thinking about it twice, these 3 are my all time favorite!

Watery Wednesday and some photo fun
Tuesday, April 28, 2009This watery wednesday post is of a pathway in a meadow behind my home. There are still spots where the snow run off has left the pathway still with water.
Awhile back someone (and I have always been sorry that I did not write down whom it was)on Watery Wednesday posted a couple pictures of the reflection off of water.
Being a complete amateur I was totally impressed as I had never thought about taking a picture like that before. Now I find myself actually searching for them
Anyway this is that path. It is not a great picture, yet I found it kind of trippy when I turned it upside down.
This first picture is the way it was taken.
And then here is the picture simply turned upside down.

And have a GREAT one!

Watery Wednesday - The mill pond at sunset
Tuesday, March 17, 2009
You know, I realize that these are very dark pictures, yet I got a little thrilled when I saw the reflection of the setting sun on the pond. I seriously would love to know (if you are going to leave a comment,) which one you prefer, (or none at all) I can take it.LOL! I have always felt that I never like anything "centered" and they are all the same shot just moving over a bit, so I am just curious. Thanks I really will appreciate it.

Watery Wednesday
Tuesday, February 10, 2009Watery Wednesday. This picture was taken on April 11th of last year at what is known here in my town as the "Mill Pond" A runoff of Robber's Creek in Westwood Ca. Not the affluent Westwood by Los Angeles but a little mountain town in Lassen County in northeastern Ca. with a whopping population of 2 thousand people.
I could not resist. I just had to use water effect on this again. I just LOVE what that site can do to certain pictures!
By the way this is overlooking Dyer Mountain
I would like to thank all of you that may stop by here. I am really enjoying these memes. I enjoy posting them and I really enjoy checking out all of yours.

Buick and a Watery Wednesday
Wednesday, February 04, 2009
Buick is my Watery Wednesday picture. I have never known a dog that will play in a sprinkler for hours on end and enjoys every minute of it. The higher the water, the higher he will jump. He is my dog "Buick" So as to not upset his little sister "Nala" whom is actually younger than him but much bigger I will add a picture of her swimming in the pond behind my house.
Trying to look pretty
And my favorite shot of him "catching some air"
And "Nala" so her feelings don't get hurt!!!
