Blogging again
Saturday, November 06, 2010
Starting up this blog again has been on my to do list for quite sometime. Originally when I quit posting I almost deleted this blog. I am so glad that I did not.
The last couple of days as I have been going through all my previous posts (I still have not gone through the whole thing) is like a little mini trip down memory lane. In the 400 some odd posts that I had on here is almost like a diary.
From the photo memes, I know what the weather was like on a certain date. I can see where I was at and with whom.
From the e-mails that I turn into a post I now realize that there are those I have lost touch with.
From my comments I have received, I see sooo many good blogs and their authors that I so faithfully followed before. It took me going through this blog to realize just how much all of this meant to me.
It was a very big part of my life.
What's that saying? Something about "you can never really go back home?"
I sure hope that does not include blogging.
I am looking forward to starting this blog up again, and more importantly, to seeing you around once more.

I am a complaining bitch, I guess!
Thursday, January 15, 2009I have been commenting on others blogs for two reasons mainly
#1. is I like to, I never comment on something I read that I don't care about so if I leave a comment on your blog it is because I truly want to and your subject matter is worth it to me that I feel the desire to say something on it.
#2. Because I like your subject matter I in fact will most likely be back so I am a little selfish that I am thinking internet friends per say. I don't expect you to post on mine but just know that I appreciate the opportunity to post in your comment section.
My complaint?
Having a comment form on your blog and then you pick and chose which ones you are going to allow to be posted. I am no spammer, I have never left a mean or nasty comment on anyones blog, and I do not cuss, (except on King Als blog and he said I could LOL!!!)
I find that a huge insult. This has been happening to me on one particular blog. first time I ignored it, second time I was aggravated and wondered why? So I tried one more time, and this person did it again. Needless to say I will not do it anymore, but it bugs me because I wonder why. There are others comments that "went through" but not mine.
I think it is FUCKING RUDE, and obviously I won't be back.
Anyone else have any thoughts on this? If you do it will you tell me why you chose to leave some people out?
Thanks I am dying to know

Kind Al's thoughts of the day
Thursday, July 31, 2008
In my Blog List you will see I read King Al's thoughts of the day.I found this blog and " met" this person through Blog Catalog. He has a blog that has a different post of something daily. You never know what might show up there. That is why I find it interesting and why I read it.
Well he just so happened across my blog here, (Just my day blog) and replied in the comment section on my "Bear" story. (2 posts down) He sounded just as upset at this story as I am without all the swear words. He in turn wrote about it in his blog. If you would like to see updates on this horrific story just go here
.King Al's thoughts for the day
I believe as human beings there are things that just press our buttons. This bear story pressed mine. It hit me like a ton of bricks when I read it. It was bad enough that this bear was murdered but the way it was written in the article was just as bad. In their own words they say
WOW I just can't get over it!!!
I suspect I never will.
Again if you would like some updates on this story just click the link above.
But BEWARE,
If you are like me it just might "Press your Buttons"
I also want to thank King Al's thoughts of the day for writing more about this. If you don't even have an interest in this particular story I recommend you do a "check it out thing " on his blog.

While the bear could breathe, it couldn't eat or drink and was likely suffering from dehydration and hunger. "I'm sure there was high anxiety and frustration with its predicament,"Naplin said. And with that they decide that a bear that has wandered 60 miles that could not eat and was suffering dehydration needed to be killed !
WOW I just can't get over it!!!
I suspect I never will.

How do you get someone to comment?
Friday, July 25, 2008
Just about any blog that I go to, I will try to at least leave a comment, or if there is a guest book I will sign it. Am I just a handful of people that do? I am really wondering about that. I go to other blogs and I see all sorts of comments, yet I very rarely see any on mine. I realize this blog is only 12 days old. I also know that sooo much of it is my family, of which I would not even expect a comment. However it goes for my other 2 blogs as well. My 2pass2me blog I use to get a few people that would comment and send me funny, humorus items, but even that has sizzled down. I would love an honest opinion? Maybe it is to young of a blog. Is there to many posts on my page? I personally don't care much for having to click for every post (magazine style) but is that what most people like?
Thanks if you will let me know. It will be appreciated.
PEACE!!!
